51 43 150 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Trim Panel For Left Or Right Door Post (Bottom)







When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove front door sill cover strip
- Remove rear door sill cover strip







NOTE: Shown removed here for purposes of clarity.

Remove edge guard in area of trim panel (3).
Unclip panel (1) in upward direction from retainers (1).
Unclip clips (2) towards inside.
If necessary disconnect plug connections located behind them.

Installation note:
Clips (1) and (2) must not be damaged.







Installation note for trim panel with air duct:
Air duct (1) must be correctly engaged in associated air duct (2).
Guide lug (3) must be correctly inserted in associated guide in floor pan.
All plastic clips (4) must not be damaged.







Replacement
Reposition clips (1) and (2) on door pillar trim panel (3).
