51 24 137 Removing And Installing/Replacing Soft-Close System For Lower Rear Lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove panel for tailgate

Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and feed out drive (3).
Tightening torque 51 24 7AZ.

Feed Bowden cable out of rear lid lock

Installation:
Make sure Bowden cable (1) is correctly positioned in rear lid.
Lay Bowden cable (1) without kinks.
