51 16 ... Removing And Installing Cupholder Insert (Only In Vehicles With Automatic Transmission)







When working with trim panels, be sure that visible surfaces are not damaged or scratched (e. g. with sharp-edged tools).







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove centre console cover







Detach plug connection from cigarette lighter.







Using the index and middle fingers, pull cupholder insert (1) upward at marked position (arrows) until rear attachment points (2) unlock.







Continue pulling the cupholder insert (1) up and forward at a slant until the front attachment points (2) disengage.

Remove the cupholder insert.







Installation note:
Check that the left and right inserted mats (1) are installed in the correct position and correct them if necessary.

Follow the instructions for correctly installing the cupholder insert.
