System voltage: analogue-digital converter faulty

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the voltage of the analog-
digital converter.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is logged in the ECU fault memory when the
voltage at the AD converter (inside DME) is less than
2.54 V.
Potential problem source(s):
- Defective DME (analog-digital converter)
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- Onboard electrical system voltage between 9 V and 16 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory
immediately.

Action in service
- Clear diagnostic fault codes from ECU fault memory,
- if fault appears again replace the DME
