Absolute-pressure sensor, intake manifold, plausibility:
intake-manifold pressure too high
Fault description
During the shutdown phase the diagnosis function monitors
the DME to determine whether the ambient-air, intake-
manifold and boost-pressure sensors are measuring the same
pressure.
Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the intake-manifold pressure
sensor deviates from the average for the pressure sensors
(barometric pressure, boost pressure, intake-manifold
pressure) by more than 70 mbar.

- Defective wiring harness
- Sensor has been tampered with
- Sensor defective

Voltage condition:
- Onboard electrical system voltage between 9 V and 16 V
Temperature condition:

Time condition:
- 5 sec. after engine off

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory
immediately.
