51 16 365 - Removing and installing/replacing glovebox lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove trim for instrument panel, bottom left 51 45 181 Removing and Installing/Replacing Bottom Right Trim For Instrument Panel





Release screws (1).
Remove hinge (2).





Open glovebox cover (1).
Unclip damper (2) on glovebox cover (1) towards rear.
Press in clips (3) and remove glovebox cover (1).
If necessary, unlock and disconnect plug connection on airbag module 72 12 ... Unlocking/Locking Airbag Plug Connections.
