Ambient-pressure sensor, plausibility: pressure too high

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the barometric-pressure
sensor.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
No electrical fault in barometric pressure sensor (PUEmax,
PUEmin)
Potential problem source(s):
- Barometric pressure sensor installed in DME ECU; sensor
voltage above threshold
- DME defective owing to internal fault
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- Onboard electrical system voltage between 9 V and 16 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory
immediately.

Action in service
- Replace the DME if the fault code is currently present or
has been logged more than three times
