Coolant Reservoir: Service and Repair

17 11 100 Removing and installing/replacing coolant expansion tank (N45, N45T, N46, N46T, N52, N52K, N51, N53)





Necessary preliminary work:
^ Drain coolant from radiator.





Unlock and disconnect plug on coolant level switch (1).

Release and disconnect coolant hoses (2).

Release screws.

Tightening torque 17 11 3AZ.

Remove coolant expansion tank (3).

Installation note:
Insert retaining pin in rubber grommet.





Check cooling system for leaks.
