65 77 740 Removing and Installing (Replacing) Left Front Door Sensor

65 77 740 Removing And Installing/replacing Front Left Door Sensor (US Version Only)







WARNING: Note airbag safety instructions.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead
- Remove sound insulation from front door







Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 21 16AZ.
Remove adapter for door speaker (2).







Release screw (1) on front door sensor.
Tightening torque 65 77 4AZ.
Remove front door sensor () and unlock and disconnect associated plug connection.







Installation:
Make sure front door sensor (1) is in correct installation position.
Guide lug (2) must be correctly seated in corresponding mounting on front door.
