Necessary preliminary tasks:
Only for vehicles with production date before 10/2009 (without M models):
- Remove knob for controller







IMPORTANT:
- Risk of damage.
- Carry out the following operation carefully so as to avoid damage.
- Tape off decorative trim on centre console in working area.







Lever centre console trim (1) with special tool 00 9 317 out of centre console and remove.

Installation:
Replace faulty retaining clips (2).
