Removing and Installing/Replacing Lower Oil Sump Section

11 13 020 - Removing and installing/replacing lower oil sump section (N63)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove reinforcement plate Service and Repair
- Remove oil drain plug Service and Repair and drain engine oil.





Unlock plug connection (1) on oil level sensor and disconnect.
Release screws (2) along line.
Tightening torque 11 13 2AZ [1][2]11 13 Oil Sump.
Remove lower oil sump section (3).

Installation:
Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace seal.
Replace bolts.

When replacing oil sump bottom section:

Convert oil level sensor.
Replace sealing ring.
