61 31 172 Removing And Installing/Replacing Switch For Electromechanical Parking Brake







Attention with E70/E71!
Prior to replacement of parking brake, perform test module in diagnosis system:
- PL4
- 02 Chassis and suspension
- Parking brake
- Parking brake wiring harness
- B3440_L4EMFLEIKabelbaum Parking brake wiring harness







Necessary preliminary work:
- Disconnect negative battery cable (to avoid fault memory entries)
- Remove cover for gear selector switch







Release screws (1) and remove switch for electromechanical parking brake (2) from cover for gear selector switch (3).
