64 31 081 Removing And Installing/Replacing Microfilter Housing







IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage.
Air conditioning system must not be operated without the prescribed filter element.
Follow manufacturer's instructions.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove right microfilter housing cover

Additionally E70_Security:
- Remove microfilter armour-plating







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unlock rotary catches (2) and remove microfilter housing.







Replacement:
- Remove sensor for automatic recirculated air control
- Modify microfilter element
