35 11 000 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Complete Bearing Support For Foot Pedal







IMPORTANT:
After completion of work, carry out function check.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove pedal trim panel







Release screws (1).
Remove air duct (2).







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Remove retaining clip (2) and pull out locking pin in direction of arrow.







Unscrew nuts (1).

Installation note:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tighten nuts (1) such that bearing support can still be moved.
Make sure bearing support is correctly seated on body.
Tighten nuts (1).
Tightening torque 35 11 1AZ.







Remove left partition wall for units compartment.
Unclip retaining bracket (1) and remove both brake lines (2) from guides.

IMPORTANT: Do not bend brake lines.

Pull brake master cylinder with brake servo 30 mm forwards.

Installation note:
Retighten brake lines on brake master cylinder.

Tightening torque 34 32 1AZ.
Feed out bearing support for pedal mechanism.

Replacement:
- Modify brake light switch
- Modify brake pedal spring
- Modify pedal rubber
