54 12 015 Replacing The Left And Right Gaiters For The Glass Slide//Tilt Sunroof







Move glass slide/tilt sunroof lid into "raise position".
Slowly slide roofliner (floating roofliner) towards rear until noticeable stop is reached.

E65, E66: A = approx. 60 mm E60,
E61: A = 0 mm







Starting from the back, pull gaiter (1) out of the glass slide/tilt sunroof cover (2).







Remove gaiter (1) as follows:
A Unclip at front
B Slide.forwards and remove







Installation:
Retainer-(4) and guide pin-(2) must not be damaged.
Slide guide pin-(2) into holder-(1). Retainer-(4) must engage in holder-(3).
