51 37 000 - Removing and installing/replacing complete rear left or right power window unit (Security)





Special tools required:
- 51 3 010 51 3 010 Suction Lift (2 X)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove sound insulation in rear door Removing and Installing/Replacing Sound Insulation on Left or Right Rear Door
- Remove outer window cavity cover strip
- Remove inner window cavity cover strip 51 22 351 Replacing Window Cavity Seal on Inner Left or Right Rear Door

Important!
The insides of the windows have a polycarbonate coating which must not be damaged or scratched.
Clean with antistatic plastic cleaner* only.

Open door window glass (1) down to distance (A)
A= - approx. 370 mm.

Important!
Attach special tool 51 3 010 51 3 010 Suction Lift (2 X) to door window glass and secure glass against falling down.





Release nuts (1) and screws (2).
Tightening torque 51 35 2AZ [1][2]Rear Door Window Motor.
Disconnect plug connection (3) on drive and release cable tie.
Slide power window unit (4) to right until rollers are fed out of door window closure rail.
Feed out power window unit (4) with flat motor end first and remove.
