51 24 015 Adjusting Rear Lid Lock For Rear Lid Lower Section







Precondition:
- Lower rear lid section correctly adjusted to fit







Unclip trim (1) on left/right.

Installation note:
Catches on trim (1) must not be damaged.

Close lower rear lid section (3) and make sure it is correctly engaged in striker (1) on left/right.
Loosen left/right screws (2).







Press on lower rear lid section (3) until mucket (4) of rear lid (3) is slightly compressed.
Tighten down screws (2).
Tightening torque 51 24 3AZ.
Check closing comfort, repeat procedure if necessary.
Observe gap dimensions.

NOTE: No grating noises must be heard when the closed rear lid is pressed slightly.







Version with reversing camera:
After adjusting, calibrate reversing camera.
