Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead 61 20 900 Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead





Lead to battery:
Open cover (1) and release nut (2). Tightening torque 61 21 2AZ [1][2]Specifications.
Disconnect Security battery positive lead (3).





Lead to distribution box:
Release nut (1).
Tightening torque 61 12 2AZ [1][2]Battery Cable.
Disconnect Security battery positive lead (2).

Installation Note:
Risk of short circuits!
Make sure battery positive lead is correctly seated on cable lug mounting.
