12 14 610 Removing/Replacing Right Knock Sensors

12 14 610 - Replacing right knock sensors (N62, N62TU)

(cylinder bank 1 to 4)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit
- Check stored fault messages
- Switch off ignition
- Remove intake air manifold Service and Repair





Important!
Mixing up the knock sensor plug connections will result in engine damage!
Routing of wires and plug connections must conform to the original routing. This eliminates the risk of confusion and mix-ups.





Release bolts.
Tightening torque 12 14 1AZ [1][2]Specifications.
Remove knock sensors (1).





Note:
Now clear the fault memory.
