Fuel Rail: Service and Repair

13 53 330 - Replacing all leakage oil lines (M57T2)





Special tools required:
- 13 0 170 13 0 170 Puller





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Switch off ignition
- Remove intake air manifold





Important!
It is essential to adhere to conditions of absolute cleanliness when working on the fuel system.

- Do not allow any dirt particles or foreign bodies to get into the system
- Use only fluff-free cloths
- Remove all traces of dirt before removing pipes or individual components





Push special tool 13 0 170 13 0 170 Puller in direction of arrow onto connection (1).





Illustration shows injector removed:
Following procedure applies to all cylinders:
Grip connection for leakage oil line (1).
Release lock (2) with special tool 13 0 170 13 0 170 Puller in direction of arrow.





Illustration shows injector removed:
Following procedure applies to all cylinders:
Detach connection (1) for leakage oil line in direction of arrow from injector (2).

Installation:
Replace sealing rings on injector.





Release clamp (1).
Carefully detach leakage oil line (2).
