Radiator: Service and Repair

17 11 000 - Removing and installing radiator (M57T2)





Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow instructions for working 17 00 ... Instructions For Working on Cooling System on cooling system
- Remove fan cowl
- Drain coolant Service and Repair





Release screw on intercooler.





Release screw on intercooler (1).





Release screw.
Slacken holder (1).
Tightening torque 17 11 10AZ [1][2]17 11 Radiator and Mounting Parts.





Release and disconnect coolant hoses (1).
Remove radiator (2) in direction of arrow.

Note:
Picture shows the E83! Under the right coolant hose is another coolant hose which must be released and disconnected before the radiator is removed.
