54 13 055 Replacing Gasket For Slide/Tilt Sunroof Frame







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove glass slide/tilt sunroof cover at rear
- Lower front glass slide/tilt sunroof cover (open).

NOTE: Follow repair instructions for bonded gaskets on glass slide/tilt sunroof.







Remove slide/tilt sunroof perimeter gasket from body panel starting from contact edges (peel off).

Installation note:
Clean bonding surface with adhesive remover (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Department).
Press gasket without stretching (squashing).
Stick on gasket in sections.
Establish sealing joint.

IMPORTANT:
Do not touch adhesive area.
Surface temperature ≥20 °C
Incorrect bonding of the gasket will result in leaks.







After installation:
Completely move glass slide/tilt sunroof cover. Adjust glass slide/tilt sunroof cover.
