Fault description


Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
* Pre-cat temperature less than
K_LSRVK_OBD_TKat_Max * Min. integrated air mass
after WE K_LSRVK_OBD_ML_SUM * Oxygen sensor
heating is enabled
Terminal condition: Engine running -
idle or partial load
Voltage condition:
ub > K_ED_PlusMin

Condition for fault memory entry
* Following "engine running time"
KL_LSRVK_OBD_Start_TML is checked to determine
whether the sensor's internal resistance exceeds the
threshold K_LSRVK_OBD_Start_R

Action in service
1. Check plug and wiring harness to pre-catalyst oxygen
sensor forward of Bank 2 catalyst
2. If OK, replace oxygen sensor

Fault effect and breakdown warning
MIL lamp on after engine runs 2x /Small influence on
drivability
