Fault description


Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
* Pre-cat temperature within the limits
K_LSRVK_OBD_TKat_Max and
K_LSRVK_OBD_TKat_Max * Engine running since at
least the time K_LSRVK_OBD_TML * min. integrated air
mass after WE K_LSRVK_OBD_ML_SUM * oxygen
sensor heater control is active
Terminal condition: Engine running -
idle or partial load
Voltage condition:
ub > K_ED_PlusMin

Condition for fault memory entry
Heater control sticks at pegged position for a given period
K_LSRVK_OBD_REG_T

Action in service
1. Check plug and wiring harness to pre-catalyst oxygen
sensor forward of Bank 1 catalyst
2. If OK, replace oxygen sensor

Fault effect and breakdown warning
MIL lamp on after engine runs 2x /Small influence on
drivability
