Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Communications and CAN OK
Terminal condition: Terminal 87
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
Actuator shifts to Failsafe mode

Action in service
1. Delete stored DTCs from error memory, conduct system
test for electromotive throttle-valve actuator
2. Check plugs and wiring harness for throttle-valve sensor 2
and electromotive throttle-valve actuator 2
3. Replace throttle-valve sensor 2 or Bank 2 electromotive
throttle-valve actuator

Fault effect and breakdown warning
Engine speed limitation displayed / Check Control message /
power reduction / MIL comes on after engine runs 2x
