Fault description


Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Active trim control (steady-state driving at between 2000
and 3000 rpm in part-load range ....min. 120 sec.)
Terminal condition: Engine running
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
Trim control suspicion under consideration of P-component
or I-component leads to targeted lean control;
If the post-catalyst oxygen sensor signal fails to respond
accordingly the error is assigned to the post-catalyst oxygen
sensor.

Action in service
1. Check exhaust system for leaks
2. If OK, replace Bank 1 post-catalyst oxygen sensor

MIL on after engine runs 2x / no effects on drivability
