65 12 070 - Removing and installing/replacing amplifier

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead 61 20 900 Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Remove luggage compartment trim on left Removing and Installing/Replacing Left Luggage Compartment Wheel Arch Trim.
- If necessary, remove video module Service and Repair
- If necessary, remove CD changer 65 11 070 Removing and Installing/Replacing CD Changer





Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.
Release screws (1).
Remove amplifier (3) complete with holder (4).





Replacement:
Release screw (2).
Unscrew nuts (4).
Remove amplifier (1) from holder (3).
