Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

11 72 000 Removing and installing/replacing air pump (N74)





Necessary preliminary work:
^ Disconnect negative battery cable.
^ Remove fan cowl with electric fan.
^ Remove right-hand intake silencer housing
^ Evacuate air conditioning system.
^ Undo both air-conditioning lines at condenser.





Disconnect connector (1).

Unlock air hose (2) and remove.





Slacken screws (1)
Remove air pump (2).





Check function of DME.
