11 61 068 Removing and Installing/Replacing Right Intake Manifold

11 61 068 Removing and installing/replacing air intake manifold (N74)

Special tools required:





Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Remove throttle
^ Remove intercooler.
^ Remove vacuum reservoir.





Disengage engine ventilation (3) at terminals (1 and 2).





Release screw (1).





Release bolt (1) at rear of intake plenum.





Disconnect plug connection (1 and 2) at charge-air pressure sensor.





Release all bolts (1) on intake plenum using special tool 11 4 410.

Tightening torque: 11 61 2 AZ.





Installation:
Replace all sealing rings (1) on intake lines.





Assemble engine and vehicle.

Check air intake system for leaks.
