Fault text
Oxygen sensor after catalytic converter 2, dynamic
response, from lean to rich: slow response

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the interval that elapses
during the signal jump from lean to rich.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the time interval exceeds 500
ms.
Potential problem source(s):
- Oxygen sensor too slow owing to cooling
- Oxygen sensor faulty
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- None
Temperature condition:
- Coolant temperature > 50 °C
- Temperature of catalytic converter > 307 °C
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- Engine on

Condition for fault memory entry
The diagnostic fault code is logged when the fault persists
for longer than 5 sec. after onset of renewed acceleration
(following overrun operation).

Action in service
- If possible determine whether fault has been caused by ice
formation
- Check wiring harness to oxygen sensor behind catalytic
converter
- Replace oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter
