Absolute pressure sensor, intake pipe: Short to B+ or open
circuit

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the upper voltage limit of
the differential pressure sensor.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the sensor voltage >4.8 V.
Potential problem source(s):
- Fault in wiring harness between sensor and DME
- Sensor defective
- Defective DME
Terminal condition: Terminal 15

Action in service
- Visual examination of plug-in contacts (at component and
DME ends) Measure sensor wire, power supply and ground
- Replace sensor
