Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors whether the "Engine off
time" message is present.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the "Engine off time" message
is not present
Potential problem source(s):
- CAN defective
- Transmitting control module is defective
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- Battery voltage > 10 V
Temperature condition:
- Engine temperature > 85 °C
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- Engine on

Condition for fault memory entry
The fault is logged in the fault memory if it remains
continuously present for longer than 5 sec.
