51 11 156 Removing And Installing/Replacing Front Bumper Trim







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Raise side engine hood/bonnet seal







Release all screws at top and bottom on bumper trim (1).

NOTE:
- The wheel was removed for clarity.
- Change wheel angle to suit current working position.







Release bolt (1) on wheel housing trim. Tilt wheelhousing trim sideways.
Release left and right bolts (2) located behind trim.
Tightening torque 51 11 11AZ.

IMPORTANT: Bumper trim must not be pulled out sideways (risk of damage).

Remove bumper trim straight towards front with aid of a 2nd person.
If necessary, disconnect additional plug-in contacts and feed out cable.

Installation:
Observe gap dimensions.







Replacement:
- If necessary, remove night vision
- If necessary, remove PDC
- If necessary, remove front fog lamps
- If necessary, remove trim grille
- If necessary, remove front radiator grille
