37 13 120 - Removing and installing/replacing pressure lines for oscillating motor FA1





Special tools required:
- 32 1 270





Warning!
Danger of poisoning 00 .. ... Danger of Poisoning If Oil Is Ingested/Absorbed Through the Skin if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!

Risk of injury 00 .. ... Risk of Injury If Oil Comes Into Contact With Eyes and Skin if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!

Important!
Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.

Do not draw off hydraulic fluid (risk of contamination).

Seal off line connections with plugs 32 1 270 .





Recycling:
Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid in a suitable container.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Lower front axle support 31 11 506 Lowering/Raising Front Axle Support (Universal Lifter)





Important!
Pressure lines and connections must be provided with suitable plugs 32 1 270 immediately after removal!





Release banjo bolt (1).

Tightening torque 37 13 5AZ 37 13 Hydraulic Lines.





Release screws (1) from line holder on front axle carrier on left.

Tightening torque 37 13 7AZ 37 13 Hydraulic Lines.





Unlock holder (1) on front axle carrier at front and disengage hydraulic line.

Installation Note:
Replace damaged holders.





Release holders (1) and (2) of transmission fluid cooler lines in wheel arch on left.

Tightening torque 17 22 3AZ. 17 22 Engine Oil Cooler Lines and Transmission Oil Cooler Lines





Release screw (1).

Remove pressure line.

Tightening torque 37 13 4AZ 37 13 Hydraulic Lines.





Important!
When assembling, make sure that in succession only the sealing plugs of the line to be fitted are removed.

When fitting lines, do not tilt connectors (sealing rings!) and connect fully before screwing.

Do not replace sealing rings on hydraulic lines.

Replace affected line if sealing ring is damaged.





After installation:

- Fill and bleed hydraulic system 32 13 006 Bleeding Power Steering (Version With Dynamic Drive)
- Check line connections for leaks
- Carry out initial Dynamic Drive operation 37 10 001 Initial Operation With Test Run of Dynamic Drive.
