Minimum object temperature of rear spoiler and body ≥ 18 °C.
If this temperature is not achieved, the components must be preheated.
Lay rear spoiler on tailgate and mark position with pieces of adhesive tape.
Remove rear spoiler and treat adhesive area on tailgate with paint activator.

Fit rear spoiler:







Pull adhesive tape (1) off of painted rear spoiler (2) and sand with sandpaper P100 in adhesive area
Clean and degrease sanded adhesive area (1) with spirit.
Air drying time at least 1 minute.







Apply an adhesive bead with dia. = 5 mm at a distance (B) from outer edge of spoiler.
A = 15 mm

Leave area (A) open on both sides.
B = 30 mm







Position rear spoiler (3) from above, then swing it from the top down over the luggage compartment lid end, align it flush with the luggage compartment lid and press it into place.
Remove excess adhesive immediately (e. g. isohexane)
Fix rear spoiler (3) with pieces of yellow adhesive tape (1) on tailgate and body.







Weight down rear spoiler (2) with weights (1) (e. g. sand sacks).

IMPORTANT: Avoid damaging the paintwork.







IMPORTANT:
- Allow adhesive to set for 24 hours at a temperature of at least 15 °C.
- Maximum speed for the next 24 hours: 100 km/h.
- Mechanical strain permitted after no earlier than 2 days after applying adhesive (e. g. car wash).
