Radiator shutter, bottom, electric: open circuit

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors electric activation of the
solenoid valve for the radiator vent slat assembly.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when a control signal is transmitted
to the radiator vent slat's solenoid valve and an open circuit
is present.
Potential problem source(s):
- Defect in wiring harness
- Defect in power supply to solenoid valve for the radiator
vent slat assembly
- Defect in solenoid valve for radiator vent slat assembly
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- Electrical system voltage > 10 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- Engine on

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 4 sec.

Action in service
- Check wiring harness
- Check power supply to solenoid valve for the radiator vent
slat assembly
- Replace solenoid valve for radiator vent slat assembly
