Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the sensors in the
accelerator pedal module.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when both sensors in the accelerator
pedal module are defective.
Potential problem source(s):
- Defect with power-supply voltage to accelerator pedal
module
- Accelerator pedal module defective
- Defective DME
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- None
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory
immediately.

Action in service
- Determine whether other diagnostic fault codes are logged
- Check wiring harness between DME and accelerator pedal
module
- Replace DME

Fault effect and breakdown warning
Breakdown notice:
- none
Possible apparent symptoms:
- No response to accelerator, just slight increase in idle
speed allowing the vehicle to be moved slowly
