Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the lambda controller.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the lambda controller on one
bank is above 25 % and simultaneously below -25 % on the
other bank.
Potential problem source(s):
- Oxygen sensors before catalytic converter interchanged.
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- None
Temperature condition:
- Engine temperature > 85 °C
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- Engine on
- No additional diagnostic fault codes logged

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 50 sec.

Action in service
- Inspect pre-catalyst oxygen sensor for correct installation
