Fault text
Message (status, electric fuel pump, 0x335) not current,
receiver DME/DDE, transmitter EKP

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the currency of the
message.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the keep-alive counter has not
timed the message.
Potential problem source(s):
- Fault with transmitting control module
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- Electrical system voltage > 10 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- 750 sec.
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
- The diagnostic fault code is logged when the fault remains
present for more than 40 sec.

Action in service
- Carry out system analysis.

- Electric fuel pump in backup default mode
