Charge-air pressure sensor 2, electric: short circuit to
positive

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the upper voltage limit of
the boost-pressure sensor for Bank 2.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the voltage of boost-pressure
sensor 2 is > 4.75 V with engine running or > 2.85 V when
the engine is not running.
Potential problem source(s):
- Defect in wiring harness
- Charge-air pressure sensor defective
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- Electrical system voltage > 10 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 0.2 sec.

Action in service
- Check wiring harness
- Replace boost-pressure sensor
