61 33 050 Removing and installing/replacing left fanfare horn







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front left wheel arch cover

With auxiliary heating equipment specification only:
- Remove bumper panel
- Loosen auxiliary heater with bracket
(do not open the cooling system)







Disconnect plug connection (1) and release nut (2).
Remove fanfare horn (3).







NOTE: When replacing on vehicles with production date before 03/2011, the holder must also be replaced when fitting a new fanfare.(Note additional work.)







Additional work for replacement with holder:
Unfasten screws (2). Remove left air duct (1).







Release screws (1). Drill out rivet (2) from ACC sensor (3). Remove support (4).

IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage.
The holder of the ACC sensor must not be bent.







Disconnect plug connection (1). Drill out rivet (3). Remove fanfare with holder (2).
