SUBJECT
Squeaking Noise from the Front of the Center Console

MODEL
F07 (5 Series Gran Turismo)

SITUATION
A squeaking noise can be heard from the forward edge of the center console, where it meets the bottom of the instrument panel. This noise is most prevalent when driving over rough roads.

CAUSE
The front edge of the center console moving slightly in relation to the center console.

CORRECTION
Apply an anti-friction lubricant to the center console.
