51 71 482 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Tension Strut (On Rear Axle)







IMPORTANT:
- Observe safety instructions for raising the vehicle
- Driving without the tension strut is not permitted.







Release screw (2) M12 x 1.5 x 53.

Installation:
Replace screw (2), tighten to specified torque and angle of rotation.

Tightening torque 51 61 12AZ.
Release screw (3) M12 x 1.5 x 70.

Installation:
Replace screw (3), tighten to specified torque and angle of rotation.

Tightening torque 51 61 10AZ.
Unscrew nuts (4).
Tightening torque 51 61 11AZ.
Remove tension strut (1).
