17 51 000 Removing and Installing/Replacing Intercooler

17 51 000 Remove and installing/renewing charge air cooler (M47T2, M57T2, N47, N47S, N57)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
* Remove front underbody protection
* Unlock charge-air hose on left and right of intercooler and disconnect.
* E84 only:
Remove pedestrian protection





Important!
Coat sealing rings of quick-connect couplings with antiseize agent.
Pressure pipes cannot be fitted without antiseize agent.

Release screws and remove intercooler (1).

Installation:





Charge-air hoses must audibly snap into place.





Reassemble the vehicle.
