17 51 000 Removing and Installing/Replacing Charge Air Cooler

17 51 000 Remove And Installing/Renewing Charge Air Cooler (M47T2, M57T2, N47, N47S, N57)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front underbody protection.
- Unlock charge-air hose on left and right of charge air cooler and disconnect.
- E84 only:
Remove pedestrian protection.







IMPORTANT:
Coat sealing rings of snap fasteners with lubricant.
Pressure pipes cannot be fitted without lubricant.







Release screws and remove charge air cooler (1).

Installation note:
Charge air hoses must audibly snap into place.







Reassemble the vehicle.
