Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

13 71 140 - Replacing intake manifold (between air-mass flow sensor and exhaust turbocharger) (M47T2, M57T2)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- E87, E83, E90, E91 only: Remove intake duct
- M47T2: Remove acoustic cover at front
- M57T2: Remove acoustic cover





E87, E83, E90, E91 only:
Release screws (1).
Detach intake manifold (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation Note:
Make sure intake manifold (2) is correctly seated on exhaust turbocharger.
Make sure connecting hose (3) is correctly seated.





E60, E61:
Release screws (1).
Detach intake manifold (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation Note:
Make sure intake manifold (2) is correctly seated on exhaust turbocharger.
Make sure connecting hose (3) is correctly seated.
