Replacing Left Engine Mount

22 11 011 - Replacing left engine mount (M57T2)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Secure engine in installation position Securing Engine In Installation Position
- Remove underbody protection
- Remove reinforcement plate (AWD)
- Remove reinforcement strut Removing and Installing/Replacing Reinforcement Brace (E90/E91/E92 only)
- Remove left V-strut (E93 only)





Detach vacuum hose (1) at T-piece.
Remove engine mount with vacuum hose.

Installation:
Ensure that vacuum hose can move freely.





Release screws (1) and remove engine mount.
Tightening torque 22 11 1AZ Specifications.

Illustration shows: AWD





Installation:
Rubber section (1) of engine mount must point to middle of vehicle.
Engine mount designations:
Right engine mount
- Even component number
Left engine mount
- Odd component number
