DDE: Charge-air tube monitoring: Charge-air hose fallen off

Fault description
Monitoring for separation of boost-air hose via dynamic
observation of boost pressure. The diagnostic trouble code is
logged when the boost-pressure control deviation exceeds a
specific limit defined according to operating point.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The test routine is executed continuously every 10 ms.
Voltage condition:
The test routine is executed continuously every 10 ms.

Condition for fault memory entry
No debouncing.

Action in service
On engines with multi-stage boost:
Check the following potential problem sources:
Leak in mass airflow system on engine-side of compressor
(boost-air hose, boost-pressure sensor, intake
manifold/plenum).
Applies to engines with single-stage boost:
Check the following potential problem sources:
Leak in mass airflow system on engine-side of compressor
(boost-air hose, boost-pressure sensor, intake
manifold/plenum).
Conduct mass airflow system test.

Fault effect and breakdown warning
Power loss owing to lack of air mass.
The error disables regeneration in the particulate filter.
Proceed to the nearest BMW Service facility.
