65 11 072 - Removing and installing/replacing CD changer





Important!

Note:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove CD magazine
- Disconnect battery negative lead 61 20 900 Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Remove luggage compartment trim on left .





Partially detach left wheel arch cover and press to one side.
Release screw (1).
Release screws (2) and remove CD changer with bracket (3).
Disconnect associated plug connection and unclip cable guide from bracket (3).

Installation Note:
Make sure sheet metal nuts and CD changer are correctly seated. Bracket fixture must be inserted in side panel.





Replacement:
Release screws (1) and remove holder (3) from CD changer (2).
