54 13 100 Removing And Installing/Replacing Water Channel







When removing and installing the water channel, also note the interactive 3-D instructions. It provides additional information to the applicable repair instructions, although it does not replace them.

Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove glass slide/tilt sunroof cover at rear







Unclip water channel (1) in direction of arrow (A) and lift off in direction of arrow (B).







IMPORTANT: Risk of damage to water gutter carrier.

Carefully unclip water gutter (1) upwards out of carrier (2).







Installation note:
Insert spring (arrow) onto water channel pivot point.

Make sure spring is correctly positioned in water gutter.







Installation note:
Before clipping in place, fold water channel (1) over in direction of arrow.







Installation note:
Observe assembly sequence:

1. Suspend spring in water gutter carrier
2. Press water gutter onto glass slide/tilt sunroof
3. Clip pivot point (bearing) of water gutter into carrier
Check water gutter for spring tension.
